The New Hampshire Department of Education’s Higher Education Commission (NHHEC) has approved the New Hampshire Institute of Art for degree-granting authority for the Bachelor of Fine Arts, Master of Arts in Art Education, Master of Arts in Teaching Visual Arts, and Master of Fine Arts in Visual Arts, Photography, Creative Writing, and Writing for Stage and Screen.
Both the New England Association of Schools and Colleges through its Commission on Institutions of Higher Education (NEASC) and the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) accredit the New Hampshire Institute of Art.
