Elizabeth (Betty) Roy has been in education since 1984 and has taught in Manchester, New Hampshire; Fall River, Massachusetts; Cornwall, Ontario; Montreal, Quebec; and Village of Dyou in Mali, Africa. She has professional credentials in elementary education and principal administration. Betty has been involved with teacher preparation programs beginning at Boston College. She is currently working with foundation level art educator preparation students at the New Hampshire Institute of Art; and educator preparation at NHTI in Concord, NH. Betty speaks fluent in French, and is near fluent in Spanish and Bambara (Mali-Africa). Betty is an advocate of art as therapy. Her favorite media are watercolor painting and re-purposing wood.
