These popular (and free) Trolley Nights are organized each year to celebrate the amazing diversity of artistic expression and dynamic museum experiences that the city of Manchester has to offer. One trolley will circulate the route between the hours of 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. The trolleys start at the Commercial Street Entrance to the Millyard Musem at 5:00 p.m., but you can hop on and off at any designated stop. Most venues are within walking distance of each other, and you are also welcome to drive, bike, or walk the route at any time. Click here to view the participating venues.
The trolley will stop at NHIA's Roger Williams Gallery which features a broad range of regional, national, and international artwork in diverse mediums and dimensions. The Gallery serves as an educational experience for students and the community alike.
The exhibition featuring during the Trolley Tour will be "Tradition with Vision" curated by the New Hampshire Furniture Masters. This preview exhibition will show work from the “Masters’ Pieces – The Main Event” annual fundraiser for the New Hampshire Furniture Masters Association. The exhibition will also feature work made by participants of the Furniture Masters’ Prison Outreach Programs in the Maine and New Hampshire state prisons. NHIA students, who participated in a summer mentorship with members of the Furniture Masters, will show pieces that are the result of that mentorship.
