This photography show celebrates the excitement, color and cultural diversity of contemporary New Orleans music in forty photographs made over two years by Gary Samson, chair of the photography department at the New Hampshire Institute of Art. The exhibition will feature many large-scale photographs of the musicians, singers, street performers and the vibrant and energized city of New Orleans itself. In Gary’s photographs, people dance, sing and parade through the neighborhoods of the city sharing their passion and love for music in unique and extraordinary ways. This event is free and open to the public.
The exhibit opens on October 14. A reception will be held October 28, 5-7pm
