Emma B. French Hall Rotunda

Through his work as a writer, reviewer, and interviewer, Tobias Carroll has become a vital voice and presence in the contemporary literary world. He is one of the most active and prolific freelance writers around; in addition to being an editor and co-founder of Vol. 1 Brooklyn, Carroll writes reviews for journals ranging from the Minneapolis Star-Tribune to the Paris Review Daily. Carroll offers a great example of how one might build one’s career, since he has been a pervasive presence throughout the literary world long before his first two books were published.Creative writing student, Victoria Soares, will open for him.
