ConVal Community Dollars for Scholars (CVCDFS) is a local 501© non-profit organization that awards scholarship money to high school graduates from the nine towns that make up ConVal Community. CVCDFS gave their first awards in 2005 and to date have awarded more than $250,000. Last year they provided 14 scholarship awards totaling more than $40,000. In addition to scholarship dollars they also provide a mentoring program for their award recipients.

“We are thrilled to be hosting this event at NHIA,” said Camellia Sousa, Sharon Arts Center Campus Director. “I am overjoyed that Dollars for Scholars has received tremendous support from the local community to be able to award scholarship money to local high school graduates.”

Art 2 Go is a one-day pop-up art fundraising event where 50 artists donate two works of art. In exchange for their donation, the artists receive a ticket that can be used to select artwork to take home. Art will be showcased throughout the night and food and refreshments will be served.
