Founded in 1898 as the Manchester Institute of Arts and Sciences, the New Hampshire Institute of Art has a long and impressive history of serving the arts and educational needs of the community. Since receiving authority to grant the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1996, the New Hampshire Institute of Art has moved into a new era of education. The focus on providing exceptional continuing education programs remains as the BFA program continues to flourish.

Throughout the years, the New Hampshire Institute of Art has benefited from the generosity of community members, foundations, corporations and our alumni. Together the contributions have helped the Institute maintain its mission of educational excellence and become one of the finest small art colleges in New England.

Your support can help the Institute continue to provide art programs to the students and community. Any time, any amount, any cause! There are dozens of scholarships, special events, departmental needs and programs at the New Hampshire Institute of Art. If one of these areas is especially important to you, please specify it when you send in your tax-deductible donation.

Be assured that your donation will support not only the institution, but will have a positive impact on students and the community for years to come.
