THE NEW HAMPSHIRE INSTITUTE OF ART’S “DRAWN TO IT” EXHIBITION OPENS WITH FAVORABLE REVIEWS
03/15/2010MANCHESTER, NH - The New Hampshire Institute of Art presents the exhibition, Drawn To It - The Art of Drawing, from March 7 to April 11, 2010 at the Amherst Street Gallery, 77 Amherst Street. The opening reception will be held on March 17, 2010 from 5pm - 7pm in the Amherst Street Gallery. Ten artists are showcased in the exhibit, which received a favorable review in the March/April edition of ArtScope Magazine.
The exhibition, which coincides with the Institute's Annual High School Drawing Exhibition, includes diverse drawings from professional artist ranging from illustrations to working drawings. The broad scope of work shown encompasses both the conceptual and technical application of drawing over many disciplines. Artists include: Jeff Ellse, Kenneth LeRiche, Patrick McCay, Cory Rahmberg, CW Rowelle, Catherine Scala, Andrew Soule, David Wells, Alison Williams, and Roger Williams.
