The New Hampshire Institute of Art has made a commitment to high quality fine arts education offered at an affordable cost. In the MFA program we offer financial assistance through merit-based scholarships, first semester need-based grants and federal loans.
Merit-Based Scholarships: Accepted students may be awarded merit-based scholarships based on the quality of their application. All accepted students are considered for merit-based scholarships. Awards will be made at the time of acceptance to the MFA program.
First Semester Need-Based Grants: Grants are awarded to qualified first semester students after acceptance to the MFA program and after completing the FAFSA online: https://fafsa.ed.gov/. It is recommended that prospective students interested in this grant complete the FAFSA as soon as they begin their MFA application. Please contact the Financial Aid Office if interested after acceptance to the program and after competing the FAFSA.
