Harrison House (Staff & Faculty Housing)
In 2006 the Institute purchased Harrison House, a three family apartment building located six blocks from campus. Visiting Artists, faculty and staff occupy the buildings.
Institute Hall
Located on the third and fourth floors of the Manchester YMCA, Institute Hall provides a traditional, co-educational college living environment. Each floor features both single and double rooms and a student lounge with a full kitchen and on-site laundry facilities. Residents are provided a twin bed, dresser, desk and chair (drawing tables are optional). Both floors are handicap accessible and provide housing for 57 students.
88 Lowell Street
With many green features and renovated in 2009, 88 Lowell Street offers suite style living with two, double rooms connected with a shared bathroom. A student lounge, kitchen and laundry facilities are located on the 6th floor, with stunning views of downtown Manchester.
Merrimack House
Reserved for upper-classmen, this original rectory was renovated in 2009 to house 16 co-ed residents. Both single and double rooms, along with a communal kitchen, lounge, dining room and laundry facilities, give this residence hall a unique and “home” like feel.
The Plaza
Newly renovated in 2007, the co-ed dorm provides a traditional college living experience. Providing both single and double rooms for 104 students, the dorm is equipped with a full kitchen, student lounge, on-site laundry facilities and shared studio space. Each student is provided a twin bed, dresser, desk and chair (drawing tables are optional).
The Hampshire
An all female dormitory, the Hampshire, provides a comfortable "home" setting with a communal kitchen, living room, formal parlor, outside living space, and on-site laundry facilities. Completely renovated in 2005, the Hampshire provides living space for 37 female students. Residents are provided a twin bed, dresser, desk and chair (drawing tables are optional).
