In 2006 the Institute purchased Harrison House, a three family apartment building located six blocks from campus. Visiting Artists, faculty and staff occupy the buildings.
Located on the third and fourth floors of the Manchester YMCA, Institute Hall provides a traditional, co-educational college living environment. Each floor features both single and double rooms and a student lounge with a full kitchen and on-site laundry facilities. Residents are provided a twin bed, dresser, desk and chair. Both floors are handicap accessible and provide housing for 57 students.
With many green features and renovated in 2009, 88 Lowell Street offers suite style living with two, double rooms connected with a shared bathroom. A student lounge, kitchen and laundry facilities are located on the 6th floor, with stunning views of downtown Manchester.
Newly renovated in 2007, the co-ed dorm provides a traditional college living experience. Providing both single and double rooms for 104 students, the dorm is equipped with a full kitchen, student lounge, on-site laundry facilities and shared studio space. Each student is provided a twin bed, dresser, desk and chair.
