lpauley@nhia.eduIllustrators aspire to tell their stories in personal and unique ways. Through illustration they satisfy these two imperatives by using their personal voices and medium choices, while working within the clients’ parameters. The New Hampshire Institute of Art offers a comprehensive program in which to study illustration. Based in the tradition of fine art painting and drawing, the Illustration program bridges the gap of process and craft to meet the demand for narrative pictures that are commercial-ready.
Rigorous coursework with professionally-trained instructors and a new state-of-the-art facility await the prospective student. A variety of mediums are covered in this intense, four-year program with emphasis on experimentation, research, and reference.
