Successful illustration conveys intelligent, well-conceived ideas that visually solve the challenges of an assignment within given time constraints. After a rigorous Foundations program steeped in the skill-based traditions of drawing and painting, students will explore and advance their own personal artistic vision with an emphasis on conceptual development and research. Building upon the foundations of technical virtuosity, students will actively engage the range of digital media, to develop abilities that will fully facilitate the fluent expressive output of individual ideas and imaginations. The program provides a professional preparation for the commercial field and training with nationally acclaimed artists.
