Melinda Beck is an illustrator, animator and graphic designer based in Brooklyn, New York. Her clients include GQ, Nickelodeon, Martha Stewart Living, MTV, Nike, Neiman Marcus, The New York Times, Target, and Time Magazine. She has received two Emmy nominations as well as awards from and publication in annuals including American Illustration, The Art Directors Club, Society of Publication Designers, Communication Arts, Print Magazine, The Society of Illustrators, The Broadcast Design Awards and The AIGA. In addition her work has been exhibited in various shows including a new acquisitions show at the Library of Congress.

The exhibition itself will take place from February 27th, 2012 to March 17th, 2012, with an awards ceremony taking place on March 17th, 2012 at 2pm in the French Building Auditorium.

The New Hampshire Institute of Art presents the 10th Annual Minumental Exhibition featuring a selection of Institute alumni, student, faculty and staff artwork from all disciplines. All artwork is no larger than 2" x 2" x 2", all artwork is for sale with the maximum price set at $44.95. Come experience an Institute tradition and have a chance to buy a small gem. Sales begin, January 25, 2012, at 12:30 pm.
Mount Washington Summer Workshops

The New Hampshire Institute of Art presents the 4th Annual Mt. Washington Summer Workshop. This program is an opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a week long intensive in photography, painting, and illustration while experiencing, the majesty of the White Mountains.
Join Institute faculty at the Appalachian Mountain Club, Highland Lodge for a week of creativity and discovery. Registering early will ensure your choice at reservation.

Thomas Adams Donates Valuable Collection of Original Photos to the NH Institute of Art
MANCHESTER, NH – New Hampshire Institute of Art students, faculty, and visitors will now be able to view and study original photos produced by top artists over the past several decades as a result of a major gift the Institute has received from collector Thomas Adams. The gift by Adams, a Concord New Hampshire resident and photographer himself, has been appraised at $248,565. It includes nearly 300 photos from artists such as Annie Leibovitz, George Daniell, Ralph Gibson, Todd Webb, and Rolf Koppel.
