CERTIFICATE COMMENCEMENT and CONTINUING EDUCATION EXHIBITION at the NEW HAMPSHIRE INSTITUTE OF ART
03/31/2010MANCHESTER, NH - The Continuing Education program, at the New Hampshire Institute of Art, will award 17 Continuing Education Students with a Certificate in their respective concentrations during the Certificate Commencement Ceremony to be held Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 3 pm in the French Auditorium, 148 Concord Street, Manchester, NH.
New Hampshire designer, Alan Medal, will serve as this year's graduation speaker. Mr. Medal has taught at the Institute, Wentworth Institute of Technology, and the Boston Architectural College. Will Conway, ceramics Certificate graduate, is to be this year's student speaker. Students of the Certificate program study for several years in order to hone their talents and skills in ceramics, interior design, painting and photography before receiving their Certificates.
The opening reception of the 2010 Annual Certificate and Continuing Education Exhibition will begin immediately following commencement, at 4 pm. This exhibition will showcase work by the graduating Certificate students as well as selected pieces from students enrolled in the Continuing Education program. All mediums will be represented and will be shown in the French Building Gallery at 148 Concord Street and the Amherst Street Gallery at 77 Amherst Street. Both galleries are located in downtown Manchester, NH.
