Teaching Philosophy
Teaching art and creating art hold equal weight in my career. The sense of accomplishment and success found in overcoming obstacles and finding success in my artwork is a feeling I hope to help my students realize in their own work. By encouraging my students to push themselves and to try again when something fails, I hope to help them to become more self aware and more confident in their abilities. The road may not always be smooth or easy, but it is my goal that my students discover that the journey was worth it in the end.
