Teaching Philosophy
In recent artwork I have been creating a synthesis of the elements of art; line, color, value, shape, volume, texture and space, with symbolic imagery. The works integrate different mediums; watercolor pencil, color pencil, oil, pen & ink and different materials; watercolor paper and etched flexi-glass. The effect is to appeal to the viewer’s tactile senses.
