Teaching Philosophy
It is said that there are two kinds of potters: mud people and fire people. Some people work with clay for the pleasure of the material, while others are more fascinated by the firing process. I find inspiration in both of these aspects of the ceramic arts. I am also intrigued by the surface of the clay as a canvas. I have found clay to be the best medium for me to express my creativity and I endeavor to share this experience with my students.
