Teaching Philosophy
Even though I am colorblind, I have always loved to paint! And I have always enjoyed being with people. So combining the two to teach painting is a natural mix. My method of teaching is a bit different. My students almost never know what they will be painting next, and every lesson has a different focus, color, value composition... there is so much to work with! I am always trying to find new ways to push artists to approach paintings. With every lesson I find and focus on the positive successes in every painting and find this observation encourages artists to continue to paint. The most important supply a student should bring to my class; a sense of humor!
