Curriculum of Study
The Photography Certificate Program provides instruction in the aesthetics, methods, and materials of Photography. A sequential series of required studio courses and workshops offer a solid foundation for students. Students take eight required 15-week studio courses. In addition, students complete 45 elective hours which may be a combination of workshops /courses, or one 15-week elective course.
Each academic year consists of three semesters; fall and spring which fulfill course requirements and elective offerings. The summer session offers shorter elective offerings.
To complete the program in two years students must take two courses per semester and may meet elective requirements throughout the program. Students who elect to one course per semester must complete the program in four years.
