Registration
All CE registration takes place in the office of Continuing Education
Lower Level, French Building, 148 Concord Street.
Open: Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm.
The office is closed on Institute holidays.

The CE Registration office is responsible for monitoring Continuing Education and Certificate student registration and records, class schedules, graduation clearance, and other related matters. Questions regarding grades and transcripts should be directed to the Continuing Education Coordinator. A transcript request from may be downloaded and mailed to NHIA, Registrar, 148 Concord Street, Manchester, NH 03104.

Early Registration
Is advised to secure the class of your choice and to avoid course cancellation due to low enrollment.

Registration Policies
You may call the CE Registration office, mail, fax, or walk-in a registration form. We accept the following credit cards: MasterCard, VISA, Discover, and American Express. All class tuition and fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. There is a non-refundable $20 registration fee for all students each term, providing these students with a student ID card and parking sticker for the academic year.
Students are responsible for purchasing required course supplies.

Second Choice Option
While it is our every intention to register you for your first choice, your class selection may become full or cancelled. Listing a second choice under the Second Choice option on the registration form enables us to automatically attempt to register you for requested courses in the most efficient manner.

Official Withdrawal
Withdrawal from a course must be made in writing to the CE Coordinator, Diane Vesci or emailed to dvesci@nhia.edu. Notification to an instructor is not an acceptable withdrawal. Not attending a class does not constitute an official withdrawal.

Refunds
If dropped 7 Days prior to the 1st class meeting, 100% refund of tuition and fees.
If dropped prior to 2nd class meeting, 50% refund of tuition and fees.
If dropped after the 2nd class meeting, 0% regardless of circumstances
(Please note that registration fee is non-transferable.)
There is no pro-rating of tuition for partial class attendance.
All refunds are mailed directly to the student in check form or are credited back to student's credit card approximately one month after withdrawal and/or class cancellation. Please Note: A $25 Fee will be charged for checks returned for insufficient funds. This is necessary due to bank and administrative costs incurred by the Institute.

Cancellations
Any course with less than the required six registrations will be cancelled four days prior to the start of the class. Cancellations will be directly communicated to students at this time. The Instructor is responsible for rescheduling missed classes due to inclement weather or due to teacher illness. A make up class may be scheduled during the regular class session or at a time agreed upon by group consensus.

Student ID Cards
For the safety and security of our students, equipment and facilities, all students must carry an Institute Student ID card while on Institute premises. All students will be issued an ID card as part of their term registration fee, which allows for studio use, library borrowing privileges, a 10% discount on all student supplies in the Institute shop as well as free admission to Currier Art Museum. Certificate students must obtain a Photo ID from the CE Registration Office. Continuing Education students not enrolled in the certificate Program may request an ID from the Continuing Education Office.

Parking Stickers
Parking stickers are required for all students taking classes at the Institute. Students who register by phone, fax and mail will have their parking stickers mailed to them. All others pick up a form in the CE Registration Office. Parking stickers are good for one academic year. Please note that this sticker does not guarantee parking in our lots, it is used for monitoring purposes only.

Materials Lists
Students may pick-up a copy of any applicable course material lists from the Camera Shop and Art Supply Store located at 77 Amherst Street, with receipt of registration. Please check the course schedule for material lists under each course description.

Scholarship Opportunities
Funds are available for applicants demonstrating financial need and/or artistic promise. Deadline is August 15 for the Fall semester. Please note: there are no scholarships available during the summer session. To receive a scholarship application, please contact the CE Registration Office at 603-836-2515.

Special Opportunities
If you are a high school student 15 years or older, you are eligible to receive a 50% tuition waiver toward any course (not including High School Intensive classes).

NHAEA and League of NH Craftsmen members are eligible for a 20% tuition waiver.

Please inform the CE Registrar at the time of registration that you are eligible for this waiver.

Senior Citizen Discount
If you are 62 years or older, you are eligible to receive a 25% tuition waiver toward any non-credit course. Please inform the CE Registrar at the time of registration that you are eligible for this waiver.

Buddy Discount
Please see the course schedule for specifics on the Buddy Discount.
Changes in tuition waivers and/or adding Buddy Discounts will not be applicable after the registration form has been provided to the Continuing Education Coordinator, regardless of circumstances.

Gift Cards
Gift cards are available for purchase from the Bursar’s office at 603-836-5253.
