Everyday scenes and objects are reduced to elegant assemblages of line, shape and texture in the work of photographer and NHIA alumni Elizabeth Ellenwood. Ellenwood is rapidly establishing a reputation for her work, which relies on the use of medium and large-format film cameras and traditional wet darkroom processing. Most recently, her exhibit at the Danforth Museum of Art won acclaim for its transformation of everyday scenes, from billowing curtains to telephone wires, into startling works of abstract geometry. Don’t miss this chance to view the latest work from one of the region’s most exciting new talents.
This exhibit is free and open to the public. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
